This is for Iron block LQ4's and LQ9's that do not have the same block mounting provisions as the Aluminum LS1/2/3/6's similar mounting style but the mounting points have been modified.

The tensioner and triangular bracket with the 3 spacers goes bolted to the
lower driver side of the engine block ( where the alternator used to be).
The alternator goes on top with the aluminum spacer and the other long
steel bracket on the passenger side cylinder head
